Shaun Strugnell and his team might not be in the same league as Picasso when it comes to art, but they have their own take on ‘Cubism’ courtesy of a £6m new build happening in Amesbury, Wiltshire.
Storagebase, one of the country’s leading self-storage operators with more than 70 centres in the West Midlands and across Southern England, are building another facility with more than 12,000m² of storage space on Sunrise Way at Solstice Park, scheduled to open in Spring this year.
HBPW Associate, Shaun, said: “It measures 45m x 45m and at seven storeys high, is almost a perfect cube with many in the locality already referring to it as an iconic or ‘feature’ building.”
The structure is being constructed by Hibberd Developments with engineering design works, including the superstructure, external works and drainage, led by HBPW.
“It is not very often that buildings are given iconic status and, whilst this is not the Eiffel Tower or anything like, it is not hard to be impressed by this highly striking building that will certainly be talked about once it’s open,” added Shaun.
