The international flavour of HBPW continues apace with the appointment of two more engineering professionals.
The company, which already boasts a raft of languages within its workforce from Russian to Greek, Egyptian to Welsh, now adds Urdu and Turkish to its ever-growing list of foreign tongues!
Will Withers – fluent only in English and East Midlands dialect – joins the company as a trainee CAD Technician. However, Muzafar Shahzad Shah, the man with the Turkish and Urdu, joins as graduate engineer.
Muzafar, who now lives in South Yorkshire, graduated from Salford University with a 1st Class Honours BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering before staying on to study for his MSc in Structural Engineering.
Managing Partner, Paul Withers, said: “Mechanical engineer and Youth Without Borders founder Yassmin Abdel-Magied has been a great champion of diversity in the work place and has been highlighted as such in the New Civil Engineer.
“We are very much a company without borders, always seeking to recruit the best people. By having different nationalities on the workforce it definitely makes for more diverse views and alternative cultural perspectives which is always good.
