Exciting news! There have been some interesting new developments here at HBPW.

Our Director, Paul Withers, is pleased with the improvements we’ve made. He had this to say: “A lot of these railway embankments were built 150 years ago and many of them have a very low factor of safety against slip failure.

“Our work on both the embankments has extended our innovative capability into geotechnical engineering.”

It doesn’t stop there, either. HBPW Consulting Ltd have been even busier bees; preparing and developed proposals for King Post strengthening of embankment slopes through the Form A/B Approval for Construction process, to successful construction. Analysis was carried out in accordance with BS8004 and Eurocode 7 to provide calibration of the method for future projects. Keep your eye on our blog for news about upcoming projects!
