The NCE100 Companies of the Year Awards celebrate firms said to be the best in their field. HBPW was ranked number 72 at last year’s inaugural ceremony.
However, the 2017 rankings will not be known until June 22nd when they will be announced at a prestigious Gala Dinner at the Hilton Park Lane, London.
As well as celebrating the top 100 civils companies, the event will also highlight those firms which excelled in each of New Civil Engineer’s five core competencies within 10 award categories.
“This year New Civil Engineer has, for the first time, sought out, assessed and recognised the top 100 firms in civil engineering based on the cultures, competencies and skillsets that we passionately believe matter most,” said magazine editor Mark Hansford.
“Selecting our 100 was a painstaking process and some great stories emerged through the process. It’s fair to say our 30-strong panel of judges – clients, independent experts and peers – were quite often in awe at what was being presented.”
Managing Partner, Paul Withers said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted but, once again, it is not the work of one person but the collective efforts of a great team here at HBPW.
“The challenges of running an engineering company never diminish. However, there is always time to express our appreciation and gratitude at being recognised by the industry’s leading magazine, its panel of experts and colleagues within the wider sector.
“As always I remain extremely proud of the HBPW team.”
