The firm’s ranks have been swelled by geotechnical engineers Jonathon Oliver and Alana Millard, whilst structural engineer Andy Outram moves to the East Midlands alongside graduate structural engineer Jacob Clark. They are joined by senior engineering technician, Tom Shiels.
HR Partner, Helen Haynes, said: “One of the largest engineering consultancies in the country carried out a major re-structure which required many staff to move further North.
“However, not everyone wanted this which gave HBPW an amazing opportunity to acquire some of the most talented people in South Yorkshire and the Midlands in one foul swoop. Their loss was undoubtedly our gain.”
HBPW is now one of the leading engineering firms in the North of England advising a range of blue chip clients across the UK from Associated British Ports to Drax Power Station and Network Rail.
“We have more than doubled in size over the last few years,” added Helen, “and with a full order book and a strong pipeline of work, we are continually needing good people. We are delighted to have acquired such a crop of young talent in an amazingly short space of time.”
